  • Of all the bars I've been to in cities across the US and Canada alike...The Garage is easily one of my favourites! AMBIANCE - the bar has plenty of televisions and the entire theme of the place is an auto garage. The bartenders all wear "mechanic" uniforms. A fun theme! The only point to note is that this place is very, VERY smoky. As a non-smoker it was definitely a turn off, but not enough to keep me from coming back. DRINKS - two words...CHEAP and STRONG! They have a 2-for-1 happy hour promotion sometimes as well. What else could you ask for?! BAR FOOD - I haven't ordered from the menu myself, but my friends say the menu is actually quite good. Every time I have gone, they have some bar snacks available as well. LOCATION - About 10-15 minutes from most Strip hotels, you can get away from the full-on chaos of the Strip without being too far! CROWD - A wide assortment, with a mix of locals and tourists alike. Overall, an amazing place to get a strong drink and make some new friends. Again, the smoke is a bit annoying but a small price to pay for such a great bar!
