Well let's start with the positive, I'm alive and made it up the trail.
My co-workers and I decided to hike up this morning and I didn't know what to anticipate. Honestly, I didn't think it would be this and I'm so glad I went.
Let me say this, make sure you:
Drink water before
Bring water
Eat something light
Wear sun screen
Bring sun glasses
Wear a hat if you want
Good sneakers, hiking boots better
Towel
We had a really good time and started out around 7am and was done around 9am. I met a really nice man name Gary who has climbed the trail thousands of times. He said he used to take his son when he was a baby on his back and now his son beats him up the trail. I saw a lot of families which was pretty cool.
Yes the trail is challenging but it's really beautiful at the top to see the different views of the city. It's a great workout too! For my Fitbit people I hit 10K steps plus.
