  • Hey Ladies! Yeah~ Well, I took time out today to get a relaxer. I officially went in for the purpose of receiving a Design Essential chemical service. So let's get the good first; then the star rating decrease explanation and close with an overview. I. V was the student. She means well and will do what you ask but as most students she wants to appease the teacher. Well, y'all this is a relaxer - I'm not about appeasing anyone but me as these chemicals can maim, burn, blind, kill, and provide lung disease over the course of years of exposure. b - great consult 4 stars c- finally applied a base/otherwise known as protectant d- showed her how to use her finger after application to move faster e - once she got into her groove. She was good. I was nervous but paid close attention and V did well as I will return.. STAR RATING DECREASED because V only had one question: 1) how long to let this sit? Teacher returns (not Manager Elaine, Not the only black female Ms. Evonne) to "inspect" which she didn't need to do as every other teacher came over except Ms. Evonne that whole day. It's okay people - non blacks can apply relaxers. Oh that's right...anyone with physical ability can apply a relaxer. She then questions the students (yea there's two) about bottles on the floor. Look lady (what I'm thinking) this is a relaxer - please don't distract them. I started this draft in August on the date of service and just picked back up so I'll let my point wrap with this: the teacher was out of pocket when it comes to chemicals like a relaxer that never EVER stop processing just roll with a direct answer and move on. When the customer knows just let the customer have it. I hate the schools are the only folks in the area (not even in Milwaukee) to carry Design Essential on a regular (regular being the key word) but I'm committed to supporting BOB's and Design Essential is still a BOB. I have since returned for a touch up that didn't go over well. I think the strength was too low. Then returned and got Victoria a 2nd time because she called out on my 1st retouch. Although she's more comfortable it wasn't applied as great as the first time but good enough to get me by for 4 weeks. Yeah, with this short cut - I have to go 4 weeks not 6.
