We stayed here the first week of May, days were warm, nights still pretty cool.
CONS:
The pool had a ring around it, as in a bathtub ring, there was a swimming pool ring, very dirty.
The pool was not heated and the water was too cold to swim in. This was my main reason for staying at a hotel, not at my parents' house. I wanted to swim! I don't get to swim where I live. No one was getting into the pool for long it was so cold. I realize that most of the year you must struggle to keep the water cool, but your nights were still cool and the water was cold. I've stayed in other resorts that heat their pools until the nights warm up.
In the room, there was one working drawer. One. I really hate living out of a suitcase, but this omission forced me to do that. The drawers had fallen apart and were lodged in the openings and broken.
The veneer is coming off the kitchen cabinets.
Down comforters in the Phoenix area? Really? No, not good.
The "mattress pad" was a thick blanket which bunched up and caused thick wrinkles to sleep on.
PROS:
We like staying on the east side of the valley--location.
The room was very clean and supplies were furnished for the longer time between cleanings.
Beautiful plantings and grounds.
