  • I have mixed feelings about this buffet. I wanted to check it out as it's supposed to be one of the best of Vegas, but had read mixed reviews lately. The line wasn't too bad at 5:45pm. We waited about 40 mins. They have a weird system with a lot of roped areas and the actual entrance to line up was roped off which confused us at first. The kiosk wasn't operational yet and finally we found a staff person who was directing traffic and letting people into the roped area manually. A little strange. Our meals were very pricey ($70 per person after tax and tip, and holiday pricing in effect). The space is quite beautiful and spacious with nice ambiance. Unfortunately we were shoved off to the side right near a bright walkway, so that was weird. As for the buffet: The sheer variety was impressive and there was some really great tasting things, but it was so hit and miss that I felt like I was playing food roulette to find the hits. The good: Soft Shell Crab, prime rib, Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, made to order tacos, horchata (not too sweet!), duck fried rice, lumpia, sushi. The bad: the oysters (they tasted off and were poorly shucked), crab legs (salty!), brisket (dry), pasta and pizza were all mediocre. I also tried a few desserts and the standouts were the coconut gelato and chocolate dipped strawberry. I noticed a sign for a made to order chocolate soufflĂ© but was too full at that point. All in all, a decent buffet but hard to give it more stars when there's so much hit and miss. I'd go back if it were cheaper and quality more stable.
