  • DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH Okay--not really rough. While the wall murals scream 'hippie' with blasts of colors, the interior is actually very simple. Not even a table to enjoy the goods. No Coffee or Tea to balance any sweetness. What remains is the focus on those delicious little Donuts. FROM THE NORMAL TO THE CRAZY The Donuts are priced in three tiers with the priciest being the most elaborately decorated--but I seriously don't know why you'd go to a place like this for a 'normal' Donut! Elaborate all the way! My half-dozen Donuts included the Strawberry Cheesecake (Creamy frosting, Graham Cracker chunks, Strawberry drizzle), S'Mores (Chocolate frosting, Graham Cracker pieces, Marshmallows, and Chocolate drizzle) and Apple Pie (with a Cinnamon-y gooey Apple slice on top). There were so many selections and I'm sure they can custom-create. Normally I'm not a big 'cake' Donut fan, but these were delicious. Dense but not to the point of draining your mouth of fluids from Bread overload. Very, very light with a slight sweetness. I'm sure these babies taste great on their own. The toppings were fun and wacky but the true star was underneath. COULD USE A BIT MORE During Monday around lunch time one guy was adding toppings to all the Donuts (made per order) AND ringing up orders. We didn't wait too long but I'm sure the guy couldn't benefitted from a little help. Plus a few cafĂ© tables and some tea never hurt anyone.
