Best kept secret in the Valley. $4.75/ticket for a matinee can not be beat. As many others have mentioned, the close parking lot is the first of many pleasant things. As for the "older lady" at the ticket stand, she's 98% of the appeal. I have been coming here for years with my son. She actually mentioned a couple of weeks ago how much he has grown since we first started coming. In other words - she remembers customers. What other movie theater can say that?
Concession prices are rising faster than the ticket prices. 2 medium drinks, 1 medium and 1 large (1 refill) popcorn will set you back $23. 2 adult matinee tickets will set you back $9.50. Still a bargain. One thing I don't like is the upselling that the concession people constantly do. After you tell them "No, no upgrade" the first time, they should stop asking. Not here. It's not until you actually pay do they stop.
Majority of the theaters are smaller. Went yesterday to see a show that's been out 3 weeks. I was the only one in the theater! Maybe it was because everyone else was standing in lines to see IronMan3. I could have my pick of about 50 seats! What a weird feeling. Also, for the OP who said there was no handicapped seats, theater 9 had 4 handicapped seats in the back as well as wheelchair space. I would imagine the other theaters had similar. Its ADA compliant.
Only thing I really don't like is the restroom. The regular toilets (not the handicap one) are really really really low to the floor. They remind me of the toilets found in my elementary school so many year ago! I wait for the handicap stall, just so I can use the grab-bars!
