This was the last place we ate on our trip to Montréal, and it was a perfect ending to a wonderful trip. The food was AMAZING!
We started with the French onion soup and escargot. The soup was good, very traditional, nothing special. BUT the escargot was superb. It was served with a red pepper coulis. It really helped bring out the flavor of the snails.
I ordered the cod, which was crusted with pumpkin seeds and some kind of nut. It was served with carrots and potatoes. The fish tasted so light and the carrots complimented it very well. We also got the Duck Confit, which was served with arugula and mushy peas. The duck was really good - crispy skin, very tinder and savory. Very well cooked. The peas were sweet and airy, complimenting the saltiness of the duck very well.
We ended with the creme brûlée, which was fantastic and taste like there was fresh vanilla in it.
I definitely recommend this place a a must visit for anyone's stay in Montréal!
