  • My husband had been to Don & Charlie's 8 years ago and it was a "must go" for this Spring Training trip. We arrived at opening and there were at least 50 people waiting on a warm St. Patrick's Day, which looked like a good sign. In retrospect, we needed the Luck 'O The Irish to turn this "so so" meal into an exceptional dining experience. The food was good -- coconut prawns, french onion soup, prime rib -- and the service was warm, pleasant and fast. Actually, too fast. We felt rushed to get through each course so they could clear the table for the hoards of people waiting to get in. It wasn't anything to write home about, but worth another shot.
