Every motel should have a Loretta !!!
When we arrived, we (a min-pin, a large Wheaten mix dog, and a cat) were stressed out and way overheated. I have no sense of direction and just couldn't grasp where our room was and Loretta sent us around the back and met us there. It was over 112 degrees outside.
When I opened the car door, my min-pin took off and my cat ran to a corner near the motel entrance ! Loretta went after the cat and carried her inside where she set out 2 little bowls of water - I followed with my big guy. I went back to park the car, retrieve the litter box and wait for my little dog. Loretta was right at my door warning me to get myself inside where it was almost chilly cool.(I have lived in Phoenix since '79). Parfait jumped in the car and Loretta helped us get inside to our room where my little group was beginning to cool off.
This caring went far beyond routine motel management and it saved my sanity !
Yes, there is ice-cold watermelon water in the lobby, the breakfasts are plentiful with lots of choices, and the a/c will keep you under a blanket if you want.
But having a staff like LaQuinta does here is indeed PRICELESS ! Caring is contagious !
Thank you LQ !
