I had the same experience as Devin, but much more happened than just a misplaced death certificate. They held on to that for 3 weeks because "they were busy." I actually "fired" two members of the staff and did not allow them in the room where we held our service. Ray, who is the only one there that seemed to give us any empathy at all, stood in their place. Faith was to order my father's headstone, and she totally changed the layout without our permission. Hallie got involved and she too didn't follow through. It had to be reordered and we still don't have it 6 months later. They also required my authorization to order an Air Force emblem from the VA but didn't tell me that until November. We buried my father in June. It's too bad that big corporations are ruining what is a very personal and sad moment for their customers. And the fact that they upsell products, such as a thumbprint necklace of the decreased, while making the arrangements to bury a loved one is incomprehensible to me. Shame on you!
