| - Upscale urban bbq, small portions and high prices, but oh so exceedingly good.
The ribs - served by the quarter pound, which is like two small ribs - are coated with seasoning, so they don't need any sauce (which is only on the table, not in the cooking), and are in fact better heated up the next day than they are at first. Meaty, not fatty, yet very tender.
The fried chicken is not so good reheated, but absolutely splendid straight from the kitchen. Again tender meat inside, and the light, well-spiced coating works ideally with it. The pieces are small, so don't be afraid to order a half-chicken and eat all of it. Marvelously good.
Had the greens as a side. Pretty good, and like the ribs better reheated the next day.
Stark wooden butcher-block tables, disconcertingly undecorated walls. Chicken is cooked to order, I guess, so it takes a while to come out.
