  • Hugely disappointed by the $60 cake I purchased from Decadent Desserts for my Nana's 82nd birthday. I ordered a lemon raspberry cake and I simply cannot describe how dry the cake layers were. What's worse is that the cake was actually dry from being STALE, not over baked. An incredible disappointment for such an expensive cake and special occasion. I would not recommend this bakery based on 1. Over priced 2. Lack of quality (ie: stale cake) 3. Clearly not a consistent offering based on the mix of good and bad reviews. (Which is not worth the risk for the money you pay). I was obviously a victim of the good reviews and got the short end of the stick.
