  • I will start by saying this office is incredibly professional and also has an awesome staff. You immediately feel very welcomed and very much appreciated as a customer. On a techie note, they have exceptional equipment and even have a way to evaluate your eyes without those drops that impair ur vision for 3-4 hours for a slight upcharge. Please note this method only allows the doctor 83% ability to see the full eye while eye dilation allows 100% but it's a good compromise if u don't have time. I had several needs and felt almost annoying today but the whole staff was super understanding and Dr. Cureton even said we are here to help:) Dr C is great and makes it easy to understand what you are looking at and why eye health is so important. So now on to why I felt like I was annoying... I went to go get my contacts and the ladies at the front, who are super polite, let me know that there was a rebate for a different type of contact. This meantI could get upgraded contact technology and save some money. Of course it required doctors approval, but there was no problem for Dr. Cureton to check to make sure the fit was appropriate. That was a relief because I didn't feel bad about changing contact technology and I was able to do a 200$ rebate for a years supply. While I was there I also ordered safety glasses, and felt that I was being very well taken care of. Overall, I would highly recommend this optometrist because they really take care of you, and make you feel like family. I know for most people going to an optometrist may be inconvenient or they may not like to go at all,but I actually enjoyed my overall experience and will continue to utilize this office in the future! They are a great resource to the community of Waxhaw.
