I LOVE the ambiance, decor, and location of this new swanky restaurant. I came in just to check it out because I've watched it be built for some time now. A friend and I sat at the outside bar just to grab a few drinks upon my arrival back in town. For some reason it seems that customer service is not held in high regard anymore. We sat at the bar and was poorly greeted by one of bartenders. You would think that everyone would be excited and have lots of enthusiasm, and tidbits to share about their new place! I had to ask for an explanation about the concept of the bar, which is something that should just roll off the tongue. You know I don't know what this is after three days of opening. None of the open ended questions that I'm sure even the owners would want asked. Another bartender did explain her favorite drinks and sold me on one of the apps (pork rinds), which I LOVED. Smart menu item. I loved my experience overall, but please get your staff together and explain to them the importance of being excited about where they work and having an inviting aura. I dine out often and love to feel welcomed. It helps me spend more money.
