  • This is one of my go to cheap barbershops downtown. You can easily tell which barbers have been there for awhile and are very welcoming. Bonus is that is beside the market and very close to my old work. Last cut I had there was with their new guy, I believe. I'm pretty sure that there was a language barrier because I asked for a "mid bald fade" and even showed a couple of photos so he can have a better idea. He ended up cutting my sides way too high... No big deal because my hair grows fairly quickly. Only issue was that I have a bit of longer hair on top and didn't really suit my face shape having high shaved sides. I had to ask if he can trim the top about 1" off because it started looking like the man bun hairstyle and I really hated. It kind of worked out but ultimately ended up with a haircut that was way shorter than I expected. I would still go back, just not to that same barber though.
