  • I did not have a good experience. I was very very specific on the phone with what I wanted and was talked out of seeing Megan. I was suggested to Shae. At the time she didn't seem very confident and I kind of liked the way my colored hair was fading at the time. So I suggested we cover my roots with a color as close as possible to my natural. Many photos and messages were sent back and forth and I felt like she understood what I wanted. What I ended up with was near espresso brown roots. I am a dirty blonde. She seemed nice enough until she started trying to tell me this was my natural hair color. She had long dark brown hair and it was basically the same color as hers. I am well aware of my natural color as it was untouched for over a year leading up to the color I had gotten just before. I had even sent photos and showed them again at the consult. When I saw it I was super mad. She tried clarifying it three times which resulted only in my hair being super dry and a tiny bit lighter and damaged after. I specifically asked her not to layer my super fine hair. I had been growing it out and it felt somewhat thick on the way in. What I left with felt like whispy dolls hair. Not what I asked for. She suggested she could fix it by adding some highlights. I had to wait over a week for her to add the highlight which she didn't charge me for. Why would she have? But she said it like it was a favor. She was so nice at first I almost felt bad she messed up my hair. At first I was like wonderful and felt well at least it will be made better. Nope. Upon my arrival to fix it I was told "hey I can only do a few light foils. I don't have time for more. I want to make that clear." Oh I don't want to mess up your schedule the way you messed up my hair. I mean why should I expect to get what I paid for? What I ended up with was a few light orange foils over way too dark roots. Months later when I went to a professional salon that knows how to do hair they were more horrified with this part of my color than the old part that had grown out. There was a dark band where she couldn't blend her overlap properly over the old color and the horrible orange streaks. After many washes even now months later they commented on how way darker it was than my natural color. And by now it had faded a good 3 levels. And of course my bright orange highlights which had been subject to purple shampoo many washes since. Stay away. I should have received a refund as I am now on process 3 of trying to correct this horror show. As for the salon itself. Too large for what was contained. Sterile feeling. People seemed unhappy for the most part. A few smiling faces but you could sense it seemed like they weren't really too happy to be there.
