  • A solid 3.5.... I was impressed by the space--It is nice and cozy/charming inside. It is walking distance to cute shops and is a nice getaway from Charlotte. The service was friendly, and overall the pacing of the meal was nice in that it allowed for conversation. There were some kids running up and down the dining room at the end which I found a little annoying because it seems like a nicer place. It is a family-friendly neighborhood but of course that's on the parents and not the restaurant! We ordered a bottle of bubbly with our brunch (served until 2pm on Sunday). I had the Southern Bennies which was fine. My breakfast potatoes were the highlight with fresh herbs and onions and the eggs were cooked nicely. The sausage sadly was bone- dry and overall the main dish needed seasoning. My friend ordered the omelet and said it was good. I would like to go back but probably during dinner service. We dined closer to the 2pm mark so maybe the food was not as fresh as it would be if we arrived earlier?
