Not a fan of raw sushi. Pointing that out now. Came here on a whim after babe and I found a restaurant.com certificate for $10 off. Wasn't too thrilled at the wait (about 30min), but for a small joint and absolutely no one in the mood to rush, I wasn't allowed to be too irritated. Servers checked on us constantly and updated us on times. Got seated in a cute booth that looked utterly uncomfortable, but funny enough, was the opposite.
Our fat asses ordered a slew of plates: albacore roll (all his), crunchy roll, rice porridge, chicken teriyaki combo, and a ramen burger. I'm not sure I've ever had such flavorful chicken teri in my life, but this was a bomb in my mouth. The sauce in the ramen burger tied in how flavorful the meat was--which was a pleasant surprise considering my expectations of the thing were low.
My only problem was one of our servers. He had a lack of energy when taking our orders and asking questions that it dented my experience. Never a fan of lazy service. The other servers were great and helpful so I s'pose it sort of made up for it. 4 stars to food. Definitely coming back when closer to happy hour.
