  • Be careful renting a cabana here. We called to reserve on on a holiday weekend (4th of July), but they wouldn't take a payment over the phone, just said that they put us on the list to have a cabana. We called in the morning to let them know we were going to be there after 11am, GVR said ok no problem. We get there and they have no cabana available. They said they always overbook and give it to who's on the list...and suddenly they DON'T have our name down & said we never called to reserve anything. Super pissed. They finally gave us a cabana after screwing us around, and when we went to pay our drink & food tab, they said we had to meet a $300 food tab. None of that was ever said to us to begin with and now they're trying to make us order $300 worth of food/drinks before we can go. WTH? One of the guys came up to us and said "that should've been told to you when you called and reserved the cabana"...hi...according to you, we NEVER called...then the topper, when we finally get our bill settled once they realized we were not going to pay the $300 minimum, they run our cards incorrectly and add in that we bought sweatshirts. OMG. We will NEVERRRRRR come back again. Too many issues
