  • What a huge disappointment. After receiving a gift card here as a gift, and hearing about it by word of mouth, I was looking forward to painting with my 3 daughters. Total MISS in the area of customer service. In fact, didn't even act as if they wanted children in the building. First, it was empty and the only staff member there barely greeted us. I had to ask how the place ran and she was completely put out explaining anything to us. Once we selected items to paint she grumpily and forcefully barked out orders to my 3 girls, all under 8, about how they shouldn't waste paint (that I was paying for) nor play with their brushes in the water. I get laying the guidelines, but this lady was RUDE. At one point, she started painting the piece for my youngest because she was frustrated that a 4 year old was missing parts of the wood. Then told my 7 year old, who wanted to cover her wood piece in paper they provided, that "that would be a bad idea because you already painted the wood and it's just a waste of paint.!" She was put out to answer questions or help, she micro-managed a creative experience, and she was just plain unpleasant. No wonder the place was empty on a holiday weekend! I'd never go back or attend any type of gathering there. Waste of time and money.
