  • I wanted to take a second and say something about Mike, who works in produce. Every time I come in during his shift, he always says hello. Today I was in the deli department when he was wheeling a rack by, and he stopped to say hello to a mother and her baby, and I thought about how amazing that is. For an employee to just stop and coo over a baby for a couple minutes is rare these days, and that's just one of the things I love about Mike. He "owns" his department and knows everything about his section of the grocery store. Whenever I ask about an herb or a vegetable, he is so knowledgeable and gives great cooking advice and tips. I appreciate that so much.
