  • On 10/1015 I started a 1yr lease with Pine Hills Lodge apt. On 10/4/15 it rained and the result was the apartment ceiling began to leak in several places. I then on 10/4/15 informed the front office of the matter and was told that a work order would be made. On 10/6/15 the rain was very hard rain and the smaller bedroom ceiling began to weaken and separate with rain dripping steadily. I informed the front office the progression of the ceiling breach. I was told that the matter would be looked into after the raining subsides. (I showed pictures of the ceiling breach on my cell phone to an office staff). Later that day I was given a 5 day pay or quit. Approximately 13 (dry) days later, the forecast had severe storming and flash flood warnings. I decided I better hurry and remove my items from the small bedroom closet where the ceiling was leaking in fear of damages to my personal property. As I was cautiously removing items from the closet, the ceiling began to actually crumble and fall! I attempted to maneuver out of harms way but, got hit in the head by fallen debris, fell and hit my head on the right side on the apartment floor. -which is carpet on top but cement like substance underneath. Almost immediately the area where I struck my head on the ground began to grow a sizeable knot. I called the medical response and was taken to Sunrise Hospital and was admitted for head injury. I went to the office to file a claim with their suspicious Erenter's insurance and was told that they have nothing to do with filing a claim and give me an email address to file the claim which seems to be a PHP and not an actual website.( residentservices.com). I sent to them my doctors report and in a short time I was told that I have no claim with them either. Sometime shortly after I received in the mail a policy from American Modern Homes, evidently something is amis. This is an amended policy which I had no prior knowledge of, I signed up with Erenter's. Anyway this was only to find out that I have been duped. I am the insurer of the policy but get this-I AM NOT INSURED FOR THE $100,000 BUT, MY VISITORS ARE THE ACTUAL ONE'S WHO'S COVERED UNDER THIS POLICY. Nevada Insurance said that this is a highly unusual situation which is ridiculous. You are led to believe from management that YOU are to be the one who is insured.- THE APARTMENT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU- Long story short, I'm suing the OWNERS!
