| - My husband has eaten in Chipotle in other cities and wanted me to try Chipotle as well. Having not been to Chipotle before, I was not familiar with the process of ordering there, or with the names of their various dishes. If you don't know their routine, it can be a bit intimidating to be on the receiving end of several very rapid-fire questions about what you want. There was no description, that I could see, of the ingredients in the variously named types of dishes. I ordered the Sofritas tacos because it was the featured item, which was the one type described on the overhead menu board, and sounded delicious. I got a very scant tablespoon of filling on the shells; I watched the amount being carefully distributed so as not to exceed that bare tablespoon. I thought I would get to select some beans or rice for addition to my order, which is what my husband was able to do with his order of a burrito, and which would have actually made my order more substantial and filling, but I did not. I got to pick from sauce, lettuce, guacamole, and cheese. The person assembling my tacos took cheese from one taco and put it on the third rather than pick up more cheese. Three tacos might sound like a lot, but they were less than half full, not at all as depicted on the their website. I mostly had floppy flour shell with a bit of runny, drippy filling. I gave this place two stars instead of one only because what little I did have, and a bite of my husband's burrito, tasted pretty good; too bad I didn't have an actual meal's worth for the high cost. I felt that at least my food was way overpriced. The restaurant was cold (yes, it is winter but I had to put my coat back on), loud, uncomfortable, and we seemed to constantly be jostled by people coming in, trying to get to the drinks dispenser, and leaving. I went to their website after the visit to see if their dishes are better described there, but they are not. I can't say I will never try it again, but it will be a last choice and I definitely would not return to the same one.
