| - I absolutely ADORE this place. Definitely a diamond in the rough! I hate that it is so far from me. I would love to visit the happy hours and mingle every week if it were closer to me. They're open very late too! (2AM on weekdays and 3AM on weekends!). Don't let the outside esthetic fool either! It's BEAUTIFUL in the inside! The decor is a little luxurious with a quaint country home style. The chandeliers and flowers are my favorite. I also love the furniture and cabinetry.
Anyway on to the food and drinks. My best friend and I visited on quiet weekday. We order a bottle of their Riesling, crispy gnocchi, prime rib-eye, créme brulee, and chocolate cake. Loved everything except the chocolate cake. It was FAR TOO RICH AND SWEET for my palette, but I'm sure many love it that way. It was not the traditional sense of cake either. Just straight hard, rich flour less chocolate. No cake whatsoever. I like sweet desserts, but this was too much. I'll stick with the créme brulee in the future.
I will definitely be returning again and again! I want to tell everyone about this place, but a small part of me wants to keep this little gem a secret. However since there is very few patrons that I have seen, I don't want to risk them suffering from lack of business. Therefore, I hope more people visit, but of course I hope it doesn't become over saturated and cliché like many popular restaurants on the strip. Good thing this establishment isn't on the strip for vultures to ruin it!
So if you're sensible and will appreciate a delicious meal in a beautiful quiet setting with superb service, RUN to this place quick! Get the enjoyment of exclusivity now before everyone finds out about this best kept secret gem in the south!
