| - I have been taking yoga classes with Amy for a few years, and I LOVE her classes! She always tailors her class to the students' needs that day, e.g. Tight hips, low back issues, etc.
Also, I love that the class is appropriate for anyone at any fitness level! I work out almost daily and am in pretty good shape, and have always benefited tremendously from her class. I am now 7 1/2 months pregnant and am still going. I bring my husband sometimes, and Amy always provides props and gives him (and me) alternate methods to feel the stretch if we are not able to get into the pose. Amy is also wonderful with senior adults who have joint issues and need that flexibility!
One of the most important things I get out of Amy's class is relaxation and breathing. I'm not a big breather I realized! Amy really focuses on belly breathing and the many benefits associated with taking deep, long breaths. Let's face it, we all could use a lot more of this in the crazy, stressful world we live in!
If you're someone who does not do deep stretching or yoga on their own, Amy's class is perfect for you! Its a very warm and welcoming environment, you will stretch into all of those joints that are tight, including hips, shoulders, back, knees, etc. I always leave feeling completely relaxed and much, much less tighter!
