  • Like others, I delete a star for a couple of things. First, the parking fee of $38 + tip just seems ridiculous. This is a fee that I would expect in downtown Los Angeles or Boston where the city is packed absolutely full and every square inch is utilized. This is simply not the case in downtown Cleveland. The other reason why this is not a five star is that while the exterior of the building is historic, the inside is completely stripped of the charm of a historic building (with the exception of a central stairway which is original). The furnishings are also sterile and to be honest, mismatched. I love eclectic but IMO this misses the mark. On the positive side, the location is excellent, the staff is friendly, the room was large and clean. The grocery store across the street is amazing and should not be missed. It is a phenomenal example of historic restoration/preservation done right.
