The fancy tacos were absolutely wonderful.... chock full of flavor and interesting ingredient combination. I ordered 2 tacos: chorizo and flank steak. The chorizo taco features a dippy egg.... yum!! 5 stars for the food!
At a friend's recommendation, I ordered a margarita. They are made with real lime juice, which I normally love, but they were quite sour.
The service was atrocious. Two different waiters tended our table, and we spent the entire meal unsure who our waiter was. We asked Waiter #1 for glasses of water as soon as we sat down. We asked him twice more throughout the meal, and finally received our water with no more than 3 bites remaining on our plates. Waiter #2 looked so disheveled and bored out of her mind. We didn't dare ask her for anything.
When we asked Waiter #1 for a recommendation, his response was, "Everything!" He then walked away without providing an actual recommendation. As it was a Friday night, and people were waiting for a seat, we were rushed to finish our meal. Waiter #1 never offered dessert or coffee.
Overall, I would return to Yo Rita for the delicious food. I can only hope that our experience with the waitstaff is not the norm.
