Donnie and Marie. Fun and enjoyable. Talented and entertaining.
We went to the show on a Saturday night. The showroom at the Flamingo was a bit old school, as well as a bit old. It is set up like the showrooms of the past with tables and booths. Be careful where you sit as we originally had seats at a table where we needed to twist our necks to see the performance. We asked to be relocated and ended up in a booth facing the stage.
The show is actually pretty good. I never recognized how good Marie's voice is. She sings everything from country to opera very well. Donnie's singing is good, but he is more entertainer than singer. They start the show singing together. Then Marie does a set, followed by Donnie. The come together for some brother/sister banter and close the show together. They also did a video history that shows how long they have been in the business. The list of folks they have performed with is impressive.
They have a lot of interaction with the audience and spend some time among the crowd. It was a fun night. The prices are competitive with other shows in town. Worth a shot for a fun (and wholesome) time walk down memory lane.
