  • We had to put our sweet dog Mattie down due to an inoperable eye tumor. Mattie was an older rescue dog and our baby for the last five years. The doctors here were so gentle with Mattie and even had tears in their eyes while putting Mattie to sleep. They had us in a smaller room to keep Mattie comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was leaving Mattie on the floor after she passed. I wish they would have taken her out and then had us leave. I felt like I was leaving her behind and had trouble getting over that for a couple of weeks. Besides that, the doctors were really great.
