This placed had awesome vibes. The energy, the people, and the look all felt genuine and cool. It's well located and there was a ton of ~parking~ nearby. And on top of that the service was almost perfect! So all in all Loic has a lot going for it!
...that is until we get to the consumptions. There's no doubt that their menu is intriguing. But aside from the Tommy Lee (which was just alright) nothing else we ordered off the menu -and we ordered all of their house cocktails and tried a few ciders and wines- knocked our socks off (or even jabbed at them). The sticky toffee pudding we were served mostly fell flat as well- though the ice cream it came with was divine and I would have eaten bowls of it on its own.
It's too bad. Not enough to turn me off coming again but perhaps next time I'll just order something on the rocks or a beer.
