  • CAUTION! They did a overhaul on my Eureka, and did a good job- so I took my old Blue Hoover upright in when the zipper on the outer bag broke. As soon as I walked in, the young man told me that they do not make parts anymore for it and I'd have to buy a new one. I told him I could not afford a new one, and that I would look on the Internet and elsewhere - even take the bag to a Tailor to have the zipper repaired. He persisted, taking out a Riccar upright and telling me that it was only $200. I again explained that there was nothing wrong with the sweeper - it ran perfectly, I only used it in my gameroom, and that I could not afford a new sweeper. I left, and called the place my Mom used to go - Charleroi Sweeper Center. Not only did they have a zipper outer bag that fit, but they had a replacement belt and a rollerbrush too! They even put all the new parts on and called me the next day to come pick it up. The price - HALF of what I paid at Jim's to have my Eureka overhauled! Lesson learned: I will only take my vacuums to Charleroi Sweeper Center from now on - very honest people that do not try to force you to buy what you don't need! Try them before you throw your old Blue Hoover away!
