  • Michelangelo's is a warm and inviting place. As a Seattle native, I live for places like this. The staff are so friendly, and they not only greet you warmly upon entering, but they'll encourage you to try samples of their pastries and give you as much time as you need to decide which latte you'll order. There is a chalkboard above the pastry case that lists their latte flavors and interesting combinations of flavors. On my first and only visit, I tried the orange chocolate chip scone, which had a light and airy texture and just the right amount of orange flavor and chocolatey goodness. I also tried a hazelnut latte, which came with latte art. The place is just the right size, and I would study here if I were a student at Madison. I'd also recommend this place for first dates, especially of the OkCupid variety. Grab a slice of lemon blueberry cake and two forks, and dig in! Its love at first bite! &heartsxo
