Had pad thai for lunch two days in a row. Yesterday at Pei Wei in Chandler and today here. Pei Wei's wins hands down. Their shrimps are bigger and fresher, more roasted chopped peanuts, more bean sprouts. The hubby had dandan noodles and said Pei Wei's is much better, too. There's no difference between their "regular" and "small" noodle bowls, neither is good for sharing. The two stars are for the Vietnamese iced coffee and the fiery cheese balls. Pricing? You'll do much better in a hole in the wall asian resto. Would I recommend this to friends? Maybe, just to satisfy their curiosity. And, for the coffee.
