  • I came here for brunch yesterday, arrived exactly at 10:30 and were the first ones seated. I do wish this place was open a bit earlier for brunch, since I'm starving by the time 10:30 rolls around on the weekend. We had several of the dishes including the Breakfast Nachos, Biloxi Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Prosciutto Pizza. My favorite amongst these was the Biloxi Fried Chicken Sandwich. What makes this Fried Chicken sandwich different and in some cases better than others comes down to the coleslaw topping, honey mustard sauce, and the Sweet Brioche Bun it comes on. The chicken itself was moist and not overly crispy, which I liked. Be careful since this sandwich does come with a lot of honey mustard sauce (which I like), but I know thats not for everyone. The breakfast nachos were good, but nothing spectacular. I did feel like the components of this dish could be integrated better together since most of the bites I had came with different toppings. I also think the nachos would be better with a poached egg, and I do think it should come with more cheese since mine were sparse. My least favorite dish was the Prosciutto Pizza, since the crust was too thick and overtook most of the pizza. Same like the breakfast nachos, I felt the toppings on this pizza were scattered sparsely around, and each bite I tasted something different. I just wish there were more toppings and less crust. I got the lemonade here, and I was disappointed to taste it wasn't homemade or fresh. My partner got an Iced Americano, and she really enjoyed it. Her words were "it's really strong". Honey Salt overall is a cute brunch location for the weekend, but I don't suggest coming here if you are looking to be blown away by the finesse of cuisine. Because of the great service, I'm giving this place a 4, but I would really like to see Honey Salt upgrade their menu.
