  • I normally go to discount tire for my tires but thought I would give Goodyear a try because I needed 4 new tires and they were right next to my house. I always get the warranty on tires because I am a single mother and my teaching salary doesn't go very far so I need to be covered if the tires have issues. When I purchased the tires in August of 2013 I spent the extra money to get 40,000 mile warranty on all four tires. I have driven about 20,000 miles on the tires and for the last 6 months my tire pressure light has been coming on about once a week. When I check the pressure they are low and I drive to the gas station to fill them up. I took my car into Goodyear this past weekend to have them look into the issue. They couldn't find any leaks and said the tires did this with the weather changes. The weather is just changing and this would not have caused this issue for several months so there must be another issue. They also informed me that my front tires are unsafe and they recommend I get new tires ASAP. I asked what the warranty would help cover because the tires should have lasted a couple more year. They stated that even though my warranty still had over 20,000 miles left they would not help me or compensate me in any way. The manager at Goodyear was very rude! This is why we need men to go with us when it come to car issues!! THEY TAKE ADVATAGE OF YOU IF YOU ARE A FEMALE!!! I will never so back and tell as many people as possible about how they took advantage of me. See you soon discount :)
