| - Even if the food would've been MIND-BLOWING, it'd still only get as high as 3 stars. Why one star?
The service:
The service was completely subpar for such a seemingly swanky place. They got it wrong from the start. Our order came out in what can only be described as clearly over the average wait for a meal-close to 20 min. BUT WAIT, there's more... that simply alone wouldn't warrant a single, lonesome star.
During our meal, our server didn't come by til the end only to refill our drinks; didn't engage us, didn't ask if we needed anything-granted we didn't actually need anything, but it still woulda been nice to know she's on top of things.
Finally after our meal-which I'll write about in a sec-it was time for dessert. I would've asked our server for a dessert menu but she was MIA and after sitting there for 10 minutes with empty plates someone else comes to collect them. So I ask HIM for a dessert menu and he has this "deer in headlights" look. Lol. He just says, "Ok" and walks away never to be seen or heard from again. But our waitress did come by eventually, NOT with a dessert menu but with the damn bill. WTF happened to the menu? Lol. Sadly, it took another 20 minutes from the time she brought the bill to us getting up after paying.
Now the food:
I myself ordered the Campagne turkey burger. It was pretty good, but turkey was a bit dry. It was definitely lacking something though. BTW, don't expect fries or ANY side to come with that burger though. You'll have to cough up $7 for fries-which would be fine if they were fantastic fries!!! But they were just "eh". And as for condiments or dipping sauces? They don't have much and what the do have is "fancied up" superfluously.
All-in-all, as a local, I can't actually recommend this place and I don't see myself coming back.
