  • I believe your first impression leaves a lasting mark. The girls who Kona Grill have as the hostess seemed very snoody and seemed bothered that you interrupted their conversation so that you could sit down and eat at the restaurant that employs them. Other than that the dinner was exceptional; edamame with angry sauce, a house salad, macadamia nut chicken, and a refreshing seasonal Sam Adams. The waitress was very kind and provided help for my wife in describing a few of the things on the menu. Also, if you split the chicken dish be sure to order the house salad with the dish and an additional house salad. We simply ordered 2 house salads which are $5.75 each instead of one with the meal at $4 and the additional one would have been $5.75. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.
