rev:text	Although we didn't have a negative experience with our first time at this office, we experienced such an unprofessional and haphazard treatment from some of the staff the second time. First, the rude receptionist that an earlier Yelp reviewer wrote about was apparently still working there. She's not so much rude, but rather cold and lacking hospitality skills. The kind of receptionist that gives u the "yeah? what do u want look?" and then sighs when you tell her why you're there. Anyway, we didn't let that bother us too much because it's the medical staff that we're there to see. Well....that was no better. When we told the med asst that we simply stopped in to see if the acne prescription they had given us a while back was the kind that can be refilled without making another appointment, she asked what it was called. When we couldn't remember the name, she brushed us off and said they couldn't help us. We literally had to say to her, "Can't you check our file??" She pulled the file and said we had to schedule another checkup based on the last date we were there. To make a long story short, we paid to come back, saw a p.a., ended up with prescriptions for the exact same med, went to the pharmacist and found out from the pharmacist that the original prescription was in their system and could have been refilled 2 more times and the date to have them refilled haven't expired yet! Had Northlake Dermatology cared just a little and did their job just a little, they could have told us that and not cost us extra money and time. We would never come back to this office again.
