| - Guys if you want good tapas, skip this place and go to Jaleo at The Cosmo instead! Took 5-10 minutes for a server to even approach our table and half of the time he was talking to us over a serving counter next to the kitchen so it was extremely awkward. There wasn't a single dish that was extremely tasty or memorable. See below for details on what we ordered. Complete waste of a dinner during our 48 hour stay in Vegas.
Lobster Salad: chilled lobster meat, baby heirloom tomatoes, red onion
-- Decent flavor, bright, and refreshing. Although there was a dollop of something creamy on the salad and it didn't work as all. It tasted almost like a bean puree.
Apple Manchgo Salad : red and green apples, manchego cheese, sherry vinaigrette
-- This was one of the highlights of our meal. It was bright, crisp, tasty and had the perfect balance of sweet and salty!
Pan Manchego: aged manchego | fresh tomato | cristal bread
-- Probably the most like dish of the night. Simple but tasty!
Spanish Chicken Croquetas: chicken | béchamel | lemon-pepper allioli
-- These were tasty but super salty!
Brava Potatoes: spicy tomato sauce | aioli
-- Super basic and nothing to write home about
Octopus a la Gallega: potatoes | spanish paprika
-- The octopus has zero snap. It was a bit mushy and very bland.
Paella Negra: fresh calamari | shrimp | vegetables | squid ink | saffron
-- The paella which we were hoping would be the highlight of our meal (since we waited 45 min to an hour for it) was a huge disappointment. It was barely warm, rice was still a touch underdone, and it was EXTREMELY salty.
