  • My class and I took a trip to Charlotte and we visited the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Out of all of the places we visited in Charlotte, this was the most fun, informative, and we all really enjoyed it! I did not know much about NASCAR and the speedways before the tour, so was going in with an opened mind. We were toured in a van around their various speedways and learned about all what goes on at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The tour guides kept us entertained and knew all of our questions. My favorite part about the speedway tour is when they drove around the track at 70mph in the van. It really gave us a feel of what it would be like to be in a race car. Overall, the tour was great and I highly reccomend it even if you do not think you are too interested in NASCAR or the speedways.
