  • I've tried Brazilian waxing with Noleen and Brazilian Sugaring with Koryn. Both girls are professional and with their own style, which I'll explain below. The Clinic itself has a seven waxing rooms, a good capacity for locating at a busy street section. Booking is very easy and confidential online, no credit card info needed. Customers are greeted(although not always, depending on the receptionist) in the lobby then taken into one of the waxing rooms. There you will be explained how to undress, use their hygienic wipes to clean up a bit, then lie down and wait for your technician. Their Brazilians are only designed to be 15 mins long, so usually your technician expect you to follow the instructions very quickly. Pros of Aroma: 1) Fast, efficient 2) Great prices among GTA, unlike some other places you can actually manage to schedule an appointment on their 15% days 3) Professional and hygienic to some extent, my technicians wear gloves and does not double-dip Cons of Aroma: 1) Customers may feel being rushed or less welcomed because of their working pace 2) The waxes, wipes, and lotions are way too easily accessible by customers who lack hygiene awareness. I've noticed that when my appointments are done, the wax container lid is left open while the lotion bottle can be opened up, which could lead to inter-transmitting germs or infection. Now, Noleen has great techniques for a first-timer. She instructed me how to breathe and despite the fact that I even forgot to take painkillers before the appointment, it went pretty good for my first Brazilian. Almost all of my hair was removed, with a few that's too short to wax out anyways. I did not bleed at all, neither was my skin irritated in any sort. I was feeling a bit rushed, but I'd like to think that's just the overall pace of Aroma. Koryn took time to get to know me a little bit. I had a really pleasant conversation with her during the appointment. Although sugaring is supposed to remove hair at a shorter length and more efficiently, I was seemingly left with more hair that didn't get sugared out. But that could just be the fact that my hair was less than 1/4 inch long and the growth direction really wasn't that obvious. Overall I did not bleed, and in the future I will be switching between Noleen's waxing and Koryn's sugaring. In short, Aroma is an efficient location that's perfect for a quick fix. It does sacrifice some welcoming atmosphere to meet that efficiency for those running on a tight schedule.
