  • THE UP-SIDE: Old-world feel and great space. Big selection of food. THE DOWN-SIDE: I'm going to say something unpopular here - the place is sorta dirty and the food is no better than any local supermarket. THE SUM-IT-UP: I firmly believe that most people shop here because they love the "feel" of it; not so much because of the great prices, etc. Yeah, you can get some good bargains, but I'll go for Giant Eagle cleanliness any day. (Believe me, nobody in Cleveland will agree with me on this.) In conclusion, stop in to experience a Cleveland "institution" but don't believe the hype.
