  • I stay at this hotel maybe once or twice per year. I have family in AZ and Avondale specifically so it's easy and close to them. Shopping centers near by make it easy in case you don't want hotel food. Breakfast here is good. What is not good is the cleanliness which seems to get a little worse every year. When I arrived there was hair all over the toilet, the room smelled like smoke, and the water pressure was as low as it is when you travel to other countries. In terms of presentation, the shower curtains that they have in the restroom are wrinkled so that doesn't look so nice. The towels smell like bleach which can be overwhelming. The front desk staff and security here is good though. The room I was in was on the top floor, the AC was making a loud rattling noise which could have been the units above. After a long drive from LA, guests want to sleep. I called and mentioned everything above and the AC issue, they sent someone to check it out then they upgraded my room. This was very generous and sweet of them. The gym there is clean and nice. Overall if they step up their cleanliness, people will continue to stay here.
