  • It's unfortunate for this Doctor that his front desk ladies are so rude because he was a great dentist. Things got off to a rough start the moment we walked in the door. X rays weren't sent over by the dentist and my mother was given grief about that... And that she couldn't remember exactly each rx she takes... And that she wasn't given antibiotics to start... The lady who dealt with that said that she just needed to say that my mother refused that line of treatment then.... Which was a complete lie. Drivers are required to stay through the whole procedure... Which isn't ALL that bad... But when you have a 4 yo with you and didn't bring toys or books because you figure an office requiring you stay would be in the 21st century and have wifi... Yeah that sucks... Receptionist refused to give us access and tried to say that they didn't have wifi... Maybe... But then how do your printers and xerox machine connect to the computers? the available connection had 4 bars and there wasn't another office building close enough to think it was from another office. I asked if she happened to know where that particular connection was from because I would be willing to ask that office for the wifi and she told me to feel free to walk door to door and ask. So maybe they didn't have available wifi... And maybe she didn't actually know any of that info... But when everyone had left and we were the only once there, I asked her if she would please put the TV on something more appropriate for a 4 yo... Because he is struggling to sit still and had nothing else to do... This is the kicker... 2 of the old, clucking, hens started giving me a hard time. They tried to tell me the TV only gets news stations cause it's not regular cable. I said they definitely get PBS though. And the second lady was like "well not all of us do. I don't at my house because I don't have cable." I pointed out that I have tvs that do not have regular cable boxes and I get PBS... It's the "public broadcasting station"... It's the most free station out there. You can probably still get it with rabbit ears. Yup... Then she told me how I was sooo lucky to get PBS because they definitely don't get it... As she goes 5 stations up and guess what she found? PBS! SMH... All because they wanted to sit and watch the today show or entertainment weekly or something... Because the one lady could barely keep her eyes off the TV... I just.... I was appalled. I'm not one to be mouthy to receptionists, but I was offended and had to let them know that their attitude all around was not cool. 5 stars for the dentist... But the front desk staff gets 0.
