  • Urban 188 is a hidden gem...most people have never heard of this place when I mention how much I love it. I was looking for an apartment in central Phoenix for my father for months and months...I wanted a gated, safe and secure complex with a community environment (preferably with all inclusive utilities and amenities) within his very modest price range. With so many apartments in my search area, I thought it would be somewhat easy...but I was wrong. I was feeling defeated and on the verge of settling for an overpriced sad little studio when I stumbled upon Urban 188. They were still in the middle of a major renovation when I toured the complex last July (2017) but I knew this was the place. Not only is the property absolutely beautiful, but everyone who works there is truly amazing... salt of the earth. The residents are treated like family...it's incredible...and if you have any issue, they're on it. They already have limited vacancies, so I'd suggest getting in before there is a waitlist...
