I was a dummy for the last year and a half living a minute away from PJ's and yet not paying them a visit until last week. Now I have discovered a great little spot right by my home - could this be my crew's MacLaren's (HIMYM reference)?
We dropped by for dinner a couple of weeks ago when I had their lamb chop and my partner had the steak. The steak was average, but the lamb chops were amazing. Cooked to perfection, great mash and vegetables on the side... pretty unbelievable that such a dish could come out of the kitchen of an Irish pub!! The service was pretty great as well.
Then we stopped by a week or so later for the obligatory St Patty's celebrations. Packed with green and drunken debauchery - the servers, bartenders and bouncers were all friendly and attentive despite the rowdiness.
I enjoy their split-level, multi-purpose seating areas. The section for the after-work-drink-grabbers, the section for intimate dinners, the section for the group get-togethers, and of course, the section for the drunks! Will definitely be returning.
