  • This review is long overdue. Hands down Best. Caterer. In. Madison. We chose Underground to cater our wedding and a year later people STILL talk about how good the food was. I have worked in restaurants for over a decade and I knew exactly what I wanted to serve our guests and how I wanted it and they executed everything perfectly. Our food was fresh, in season and perfectly prepared. Oh and it tasted f***ing delicious. I planned the wedding from a distance so I booked early and spent months planning the menu with the event coordinator Marilyn, who, by the way is amazing at her job. She was really personable and very thorough. I really enjoyed working with her. Underground is ahead of the curve on local, seasonal cooking. Our wedding was in early June and the Wisconsin growing season is fairly unpredictable in early summer. The staff had their finger on the pulse of exactly what would be available that week. They created the perfect menu. The day of they were on point. Any hiccups and delays we threw at them they handled without breaking a sweat. The whole staff was polite and professional and did their job flawlessly. I really didn't have to think about anything. The bottom line is, all people really care about at a wedding is booze, music and food. These guys know their food and you should trust them with your event. Thanks again for a great meal!
