| - I've taken my two dogs to daycare at Waggin tails for years. The front desk is slower with getting dogs in and out compared to the other daycares in town, and they are a little more expensive... But it's closer to my house so I've tried to overlook those relatively minor issues. Until, however one of my dogs received a several-centimeters-long open bite/gash to his ear (and last year open gash from a bite to his back). I know they're dogs and I know it's daycare, but their policies are off compared to other daycares in town. I, the owner of the dog that received the bite, was not told the story of how either bite happened (they said they 'weren't sure what happened' but both times called me urgently to say my dog was injured/bleeding and they didn't see it happen,), I paid 100% of the hundreds in vet bills for the emergency care for the bites (other dog daycares have had the owner of the dog that did the biting reimburse me for any injuries), I never received a call from Waggin tails after the bites occurred to check to see how my dog was doing, and I still had to pay the full price as scheduled for daycare despite needing to rush there to get my dog to the emergency vet. ( I had a bad experience with the vet attached to Waggin tails in the past, so I use my own vet). Basically, it's not a business that is focused on making it a good experience for each dog in its care, it is simply a money-making venture who doesn't have the best interest or safety of dogs as its focus...very sad and scary.
