  • I was reading reviews and have to agree with a fellow reviewer, who wrote: "The good: The phlebotomists are super sweet people. The front desk staff are usually pretty polite and kind. When you come in for your appointment, you don't sit in the waiting room forever--you get brought back pretty quick. The people that come and take your weight and temperature etc (medical assistants?) are always sweet. The office is always very clean and well-kept." ****I agree with this**** "The bad: I have Dr. Solomon and I see lots of positive reviews about him...happy for you guys, but I haven't had the greatest experience. On the occasions I do see him, he seems...inattentive at best. He'll ask how you've been and then the moment you actually start telling him how your pain has been or how you've been having a new symptom it's like his eyes just gloss over and he stops listening. He's in a rush to get you in and out asap." ***I was actually a little relieved to read the above. That means this apparent detached concern for patients' well-being isn't just my impression. The visits I have with the Dr here are extremely fast yet not efficient. They lack almost any communication beyond the few questions that have to be checked off the required continued Rx list. I always leave more confused about what my treatments plans are and what I can expect in my upcoming days and or weeks. The nurses and Dr both seem mostly unaware of what is happening with me as a patient, before and after my appointments. Don't get me wrong - the office isn't all "bad" and has tremendous areas of opportunity for improvement. They are friendly. However I'm not paying for more friends. I'm paying them to collaborate with me and help manage my health. They lack attention to detail and I think that starts at this company's leadership and runs down the line. The number of inaccuracies in paperwork/records that I've dealt with here are inexcusable. For example when they've sent me off to other specialists, the paperwork they provide is outdated and inaccurate. They provided me a referral document with their official Medical Seal for authenticity and then inaccurately listed my medical "facts" and medications within the referral. How scary! My overall impression of this office is they work hard to get you on an over-priced Humira (or similar) medicine, and then not much else to help support. Pain, discomfort, confusion, and communication are not their forte. They will send you elsewhere if you need long term care in addition to Humira. So far they've put me on two medications that made me worse, yet never once checked up on how these drastic medications were affecting me. I imagine it's that way with all their clients. They've made me sick for a very long time and it was unnecessary. I have one more visit tomorrow morning, which will make a full year here. Fortunately I can move doctors. That is my next move if there is no improvement in services or solutions. A good doctor is hard to find!! 4/24/18 I've added a star because Dr Solomon has done a fantastic job in opening up communication and making sure I understand what is going on. He has worked hard to update my files and information therein. He pays direct and complete attention to me while we are in appointments and he calls me to follow up. THANK YOU! They no longer help manage pain associated with diagnosed diseases. This change means I need to go to additional facilities causing me to incur additional out of pocket costs plus time off work for what is a simple fix. AZ Arthritis gives you 75% of a solution for disease management and turn their head to the other 25%; not because they must but because they choose not to address the full cycle of how disease presents itself. That's unfortunate and inconvenient for patients.
